Dahilayan Adventure and Forest Park

It is located in Barangay Dahilayan, Bukidnon, in Mindanao. The park is strategically situated along the foot of Mt. Kitanglad Mountain Range, the fourth-highest mountain in the Philippines. Dahilayan Adventure and Forest Park also features the longest Dual Zip line in Asia. It is a must-try experience for all outdoor enthusiasts and adrenaline junkies. Aside from its main attraction, the forest park is also one the country’s most promising outdoor destinations as it offers a wide selection of exciting outdoor activities and modern amenities.
Attractions and ActivitiesDahilayan Adventure and Forest Park is open from Monday to Sunday, including holidays. The main attraction of the park includes the Dual Zip line, but a lot of tourists still visit the place for its panoramic mountain scenery and cold climate.
Dual Zip lineIt is known as the longest Dual Zip line in Asia. The two cables are 2,756 feet long and has an altitude of over 4,700 feet above sea level. The zip line can hold two people at a time and can reach speeds of up to 56 miles/h. The ride enforces no age limit, but the weight of the guests must be within 40-120 kg.

DropzoneThe first adrenaline-pumping, extreme pendulum swing in the Philippines. Guests are strapped with a safety harness and dropped from a 120 feet platform into a man-made lake.
ATV & Buggy Trail AdventureGuests can take a guided tour on a buggy or an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) along a 2.0 miles trail. The park trail features a challenging, rough terrain and steep clay hills.
ZorbitA maximum of two people can take the ride at a time. Guests are strapped inside a giant inflated ball which is then rolled down a hill. Another variation of the ride is called AquaZorbit, where water is added inside the ball to make the ride a little more interesting.
Bungee Bounce & Net TrampolineGuests are strapped in a safety bungee harness while they jump on large trampolines. Net walls are also installed around the setup for additional safety.
Forest Putt GolfAn 18-hole nature-themed putting course. The adorable playground is a relaxing venue for both golf enthusiasts and children.
DiningA day of extreme adventure will surely make anyone famished. The indoor Forest Park Café situated at the heart of Dahilayan Forest Park is the perfect place to satisfy your appetite. The restaurant serves a wide selection of gourmet meals, light snacks, and refreshments, including freshly hand-rolled pizzas and signature cinnamon rolls.
The Cowboy’s Grill, which is located at the Saddle Ridge Camp (outside the Forest Park) is also a great place to dine in. Local and international cuisines are served daily at very affordable prices.
AccommodationThe most recommended accommodation in Dahilayan is the Pine Grove Mountain Lodge. Pine Grove is a classy country club-inspired hotel just a few meters away from the Forest Park. It has eight guest rooms and a dormitory-type room. Each room can accommodate a maximum of 3 people and features a panoramic view of the mountainous landscape. Guests can also make bonfires at the lodge’s private garden.

There is a 20% discount on Zip line rides (at the Forest Park) for all guests staying at Pine Grove Mountain Lodge.
Another great option is the Cowboy Inn, which is a western-inspired establishment located in Saddle Ridge Camp (a 10-minute walk downhill from Dahilayan Adventure and Forest Park). The inn offers well-maintained indoor and outdoor rooms that can accommodate 4 people at a time. During the evening, guests can request for a bonfire barbecue buffet.

How to Get ThereFrom Manila, tourists can take a domestic flight to Cagayan de Oro. All flights going to CDO are catered at the Laguindingan International Airport (located an hour away from the city proper).
When you arrive at the airport, taxis, and shuttle vans can take you directly to Dahilayan, Bukidnon. For those who are already in Cagayan, they can either arrange their own private transportation to Dahilayan or commute by taking a taxi or jeepney ride to Agora Bus Terminal.
From the bus terminal, you can catch a jeepney ride or a shuttle van to Camp Philips. The travel time from the city is approximately one hour. Once you reach Camp Philips, habal-habals (motorbikes) and tricycles can take you directly to Dahilayan Adventure and Forest Park.
Shuttle rides are also offered by the Dahilayan Adventure and Forest Park every Saturdays. (Pick-up and drop-off point is at Coffeeworks Divisoria, Cagayan de Oro)
Travel TipsWhen visiting the Forest Park, tourists are advised to bring a jacket due to Bukidnon’s very cold climate.
